What is domain name registration?

A domain name the name that identifies a web site. For example, "www.microsoft.com" is the domain name for Microsoft's website. Domain name registration is the process of taking ownership of a domain name by registering it with an approved registrar (assuming that the name is not already taken).

We use a provider called SmartyHost (owned by MYOB).
